Icons, Rock Stars, & Innovators: Danielle A. Hunt

What makes an INNOVATOR?

They travel the roads not taken…a pioneer of change…fearlessly creating groundbreaking initiatives and solutions!

Danielle A. Hunt is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Grey NY, and Podcast Producer for #5Things: This week in social, and Grey Matter – a podcast about ideas.  In her role as Podcast Producer, she looks for opportunities to increase the brand’s awareness, and listenership through partnerships and cross-promotion.

  • Started a music-oriented experiential marketing firm in 2006
  • Started podcasting in 2016
  • Partnered with Snaps Media Group – PR & Media Firm – 2020
  • Became producer of Grey Matter & 5Things in 2020.
  • Grey Matter was recently recognized by AdWeek as the Best Agency-Hosted Podcast of 2021

The above experiences stretch my way of thinking at every turn, because while the fundamental experience is there, the way of approach and execution is non-linear. I have to continuously reflect on ways to boost a brand’s awareness, sales and revenue.  There’s a certain level of humility that comes with innovating as well.  Understanding that I’m not a know-it-all, it’s prudent for me to have a strong partner like my Executive Producer, Joey Scarillo.  His energy brings focus to the podcast space, which allows us to courageously approach the casting process, be prepared for a bunch of no’s, and switch gears in order to turn it into a yes.

The AD Club Foundation is proud to recognize outstanding industry professionals, during our 5th Annual Black History Month recognition series titled, “Icons, Rock Stars & Innovators”.

Each day during Black History Month we profile a selected “Icon, Rock Star & Innovator” across all our digital platforms. Though we cannot be together in person, the spirit of our history and the legacy of our excellence lives on in us. Follow the series on Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn!
