Annelise Campbell is a digital marketing expert and influencer strategist on a mission. An early adopter in the influencer marketing space, Annelise excels in shaping thought-provoking campaigns that are also thoughtful about representation. She elevates this work as founder of CFG, a talent agency specializing in diverse influencer management and inclusive campaign strategies.
Annelise grew up in Valley Stream, Long Island, and was dazzled by marketing at a young age. She pursued it with tenacity, majoring in Communications at SUNY Albany and gaining experience in consumer-facing work at global advertising and PR agencies. Annelise became adept at digital and paid media, as well as social strategy, and it was during this time that influencer marketing began to emerge in the industry. Soon she was entrusted to lead some of the first-ever influencer campaigns for household brands including Pepsi, Magnum and L’Oreal.
It was her five-plus years on the brand agency side that exposed Annelise to discrepancies in how corporations engage with influencers of color. She founded CFG in 2019 to advocate for these diverse influencers and broker partnerships that create equity. At CFG, Annelise and her team protect the creators who push culture forward, while collaborating with top brands on fresh and strategic campaigns. Most importantly, they drive results. Annelise believes it is her ethical leadership, along with her keen ability to synthesize data to extract an insightful, impactful story, that is pivotal to her success.
