Ideas don’t move unless you do” is a creative philosophy that has guided Vida Cornelious throughout her creative career. As an award-winning creative leader, who has spent over 20 years moving brands forward with solutions that deepen consumer engagement and emotional connectivity, Vida knows the power of this quote all too well. Currently, she is the VP, Creative, New York Times Advertising. As the creative lead of the department, she oversees the T Brand Studio team and operations responsible for building bespoke creative content, bringing brands closer to the prolific storytelling of the New York Times. Some of her more recent work with the team is generating industry accolades. Soul of Us, T Brand Studio’s first creative franchise, is a storytelling journey of the Black experience in America. And Picture Progress, is an insightful campaign in collaboration with Google to launch its new Pixel 6 Phone with Real Tone technology.

Vida also held the Chief Creative Officer post at New York Times Advertising experience agency, Fake Love, top creative leadership roles at global brand, The Walt Disney Company and advertising giant, DDB Chicago, fueling her career with a trifecta of publisher, brand, and agency side creative experiences.

Throughout her career, Vida has been an op-ed contributor to industry publications, is an experienced award show juror, featured panelist, thought leader, sought-after mentor and speaker at industry events. She has created award-winning work for blue-chip clients garnering awards and recognition from Cannes Lions, The Effies, Communication Arts, The Art Directors Club, Chicago Creative Club, London International Awards and others.
